In August 2008, I began my freelance work for Sonic Cathedral, one of the major online stores and webzines supporting female-fronted rock and metal bands. This is one of the best sites to read CD reviews and interviews and purchase music by some of the biggest bands in this area of music (Evanescence, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Nightwish) and lots of up-and-coming bands.
Contributing to the Sonic Cathedral Webzine is something I really enjoy doing. It combines two of my biggest loves – music and writing – and it also allows me to get in touch with bands all over the world. Currently I write CD reviews once a month, interviews, and occasional concert reviews and editorials.
Just over three years after joining Sonic Cathedral, I joined Suite101 to expand my horizons and review other albums, ranging from rock and metal (both male- and female-fronted bands) to popular music.
